Heritage Cotto captures the warm, timeworn character of traditional handmade terracotta in a durable porcelain tile. Its layered cotto coloration blends earthy clay, warm tan, caramel, muted brown, and softly faded neutral tones, while distressed-looking edges and mottled surface details recreate the irregular beauty of aged European tile.

The approximately 8" x 8" format is especially versatile for kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, patios, mudrooms, fireplace surrounds, and statement floors. With V4 substantial variation and 30 individual faces, Heritage Cotto is intentionally designed with noticeable differences from tile to tile, creating a richly varied installation with the appearance of authentic reclaimed terracotta.

Porcelain Tile Information

Heritage Cotto is porcelain designed to recreate the appearance of aged terracotta and is not natural terracotta. The porcelain construction provides the distinctive warmth and character associated with traditional clay tile while offering the performance and versatility of a manufactured porcelain surface.

This collection carries a V4 substantial variation rating and includes 30 individual faces. Significant differences in color, shading, mottling, distressing, and edge appearance are intentional parts of the design. Some pieces may appear lighter, darker, warmer, or more weathered than others.

For the most natural installation, open several cartons and blend tiles before setting. Dry-laying the material is recommended so the range of colors and surface characteristics can be evenly distributed throughout the finished space.

Sample Orders

We strongly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full order to evaluate the actual cotto coloration, matte finish, weathered surface, and distressed edge detailing.

Because Heritage Cotto features V4 substantial variation and 30 individual faces, a single sample cannot represent the complete range of colors and surface characteristics found throughout the collection.

Samples are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Shipping Information

Most orders ship via UPS or FedEx depending on quantity and destination. Larger orders may ship palletized via LTL freight when necessary.

Please inspect all material upon delivery. Any visible or concealed shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Material should be inspected before installation, as no claims can be accepted after the product has been installed.

Returns

Returns may be accepted on full, unopened cases in their original packaging with prior authorization. Opened cases, individual pieces, installed or altered material, and samples are non-returnable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

For palletized orders, please retain the original shipping pallet if there is any possibility of a return. Returned material must be securely stacked, protected, and properly wrapped for transportation.
