Artisan Check Green & White is a distinctive natural stone mosaic that reinterprets the timeless checkerboard pattern with an organic, handcrafted character. A curated blend of Dolomite, Desert Verde, and Empress Green creates alternating fields of crisp white, soft sage, and deeper green stone, while the intentionally irregular mosaic pieces introduce texture and natural movement within each square.

Mesh-mounted on 12" × 12" sheets, the contrasting stone sections connect from sheet to sheet to create a continuous green-and-white checkerboard pattern across the finished installation. Unlike a traditional checkerboard made from uniform field tile, Artisan Check uses small irregular pieces of genuine stone to soften the geometry and give the pattern a more artisanal, dimensional appearance. Natural Stone Information

Artisan Check Green & White is crafted from genuine natural stone, including Dolomite, Desert Verde, and Empress Green. Natural variations in color, tone, texture, veining, mineral markings, and surface character are inherent to these materials and are part of what makes each installation unique.

The combination of multiple stones creates natural movement throughout the green-and-white checkerboard pattern. Individual sections may range from clean white and pale green to richer green tones, with differences in veining and mineral character occurring naturally from piece to piece.

Natural stone may require sealing before and/or after installation depending on the application. We recommend consulting a qualified tile installer regarding appropriate setting materials, grout, sealing products, and maintenance procedures for the specific installation environment.

For the most balanced finished appearance, review and dry-lay multiple sheets before installation and blend material from several cartons.

Sample Orders

We strongly recommend ordering a sample before placing a full order to evaluate the actual white, sage, and deeper green stone tones, polished finish, irregular mosaic texture, checkerboard pattern, and grout pairing in your space.

Because this mosaic combines several genuine natural stones, a single sample cannot represent the complete range of color, texture, veining, and natural variation that may be present throughout a larger installation.

Samples are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Shipping Information

Most orders ship via UPS or FedEx depending on quantity and destination. Larger orders may ship palletized via LTL freight when necessary.

Please inspect all material upon delivery. Any visible or concealed shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Material should be inspected before installation, as no claims can be accepted after the product has been installed.

Returns

Returns may be accepted on full, unopened cases in their original packaging with prior authorization. Opened cases, individual sheets, installed or altered material, and samples are non-returnable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

For palletized orders, please retain the original shipping pallet if there is any possibility of a return. Returned material must be securely stacked, protected, and properly wrapped for transportation.
